Craftsmanship Meets Tradition

At Bourbon Trail Grillworks (a One-Time Fabrication business initiative), our Santa Maria grills draw from this rich history while incorporating modern precision and materials. Inspired by the craftsmanship of early Californian pitmasters, each grill is built with a focus on quality and durability. Our designs honor the traditions of open-fire cooking, bringing the enduring experience of Santa Maria-style grilling to your home or event, with a level of detail that defines One-Time Fabrication.

Features

The Wheel Crank

The wheel crank is the heart of the Santa Maria grill, giving users precise control over grilling temperature and intensity. This crank lets you adjust the grill grate’s height effortlessly, allowing for quick changes between high heat for searing and a lower, gentler heat for slow cooking. Designed for durability and smooth operation, the wheel crank ensures every grilling session can be adjusted to perfection with ease.

HD Steel Grate

Built to withstand the rigors of open-flame cooking, the HD steel grate provides a stable, high-temperature cooking surface. Crafted from heavy-duty steel, it holds up under intense heat without warping, ensuring consistent performance for years. The sturdy construction also retains and evenly distributes heat, offering an ideal surface for searing meats or grilling vegetables to perfection.

ANSI 40 Roller Chains

The ANSI 40 roller chains are industrial-grade chains that drive the grill’s adjustable mechanisms. With their high tensile strength and precise engineering, these chains offer smooth, reliable movement for the wheel crank system. Resistant to wear and tear, ANSI 40 roller chains are essential for maintaining the grill’s long-term functionality, allowing adjustments without slipping or jamming.

Rachet System

The ratchet system adds an extra layer of control and safety to the grill adjustment mechanism. It locks the grate at the desired height, preventing any accidental movement during cooking. This sturdy ratchet is built to withstand repeated use, giving grillers confidence in the setup and allowing for precise heat control.

Oil Impregnated Bronze Bushings + Roller Bearings

Engineered for smooth and low-maintenance operation, oil-impregnated bronze bushings and roller bearings ensure that the moving parts of the grill operate seamlessly. The self-lubricating properties reduce friction and extend the life of the components, making height adjustments smoother and enhancing the grill’s overall durability and ease of use.
